İstanbul Medipol Üniversitesi

Istanbul Medipol University is a foundation university established in 2009 in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded and supported by TESA (Turkish Education Health and Research Foundation), Istanbul Medipol University focuses primarily on medicine and health sciences while also providing education and instruction in other academic fields.

Currently operating across its Kavacik North, Kavacik South, Halic, and Bagcilar campuses, Istanbul Medipol University serves approximately 40,000 students with 12 faculties — including the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, and the International Faculty of Medicine — along with 1 school, 4 vocational schools, 5 institutes, and 1 research and application center.

Certain undergraduate programs at Istanbul Medipol University are taught in English. Prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and based on their scores, they may either proceed directly to their undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as TOEFL i-BT, Pearson PTE-Academic, Oxford Test of English, CAE, CPE, or exams administered by OSYM such as YDS, E-YDS, and YOKDiL may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Istanbul Medipol University must meet the admission requirements listed below.

For Turkish Students;

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 197.27203
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 536.19794

For International Students;

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
• Turkish Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Program Exemption;
