Submitting at least one of the exams below with the required score is a prerequisite for application. The score threshold may vary by program.
How to get into
Certain undergraduate programs at Istanbul Medipol University are taught in English. Prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and based on their scores, they may either proceed directly to their undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as TOEFL i-BT, Pearson PTE-Academic, Oxford Test of English, CAE, CPE, or exams administered by OSYM such as YDS, E-YDS, and YOKDiL may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.
Prospective students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Istanbul Medipol University must meet the admission requirements listed below.
For Turkish Students;
- High School Diploma
- Minimum YKS Base Score: 197.27203
- Maximum YKS Base Score: 536.19794
For International Students;
- SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
or - International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
- Turkish Proficiency Certificate
For Preparatory Program Exemption;
- A sufficient score on a proficiency exam such as TOEFL i-BT, Pearson PTE-Academic, Oxford Test of English, CAE, CPE, or exams administered by OSYM such as YDS, E-YDS, and YOKDiL
