Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University

Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University is a foundation-supported public university established in 1992 in the Bolu province of Turkey. As Turkey's first foundation-supported public university, Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University is supported by the İzzet Baysal Foundation, which was established by İzzet Baysal, an architect, businessman, and philanthropist.

Located at the Gölköy Campus, Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University provides higher education opportunities to approximately 30,000 students across 16 faculties — including the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Gerede Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Tourism, and Faculty of Agriculture — as well as 1 school, 8 vocational schools, 1 institute, and 20 research and application centers.

Certain undergraduate programs at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University are taught in English; prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and based on their score, they may either proceed directly to their undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as FCE, TOEFL-CBT, or IELTS, or on proficiency exams administered by ÖSYM and YÖK such as YDS, E-YDS, or YÖKDİL, may request an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University must meet the admission requirements listed below.

For Turkish Students:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 200.2135
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 440.15376

For International Students:

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
