Atılım Üniversitesi

Atılım Üniversitesi is a foundation university established in 1996 in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, by the Atılım Foundation. Founded with the goal of becoming a university that delivers quality education, advances science and technology, conducts research, and serves as a guiding light for Turkey's future, Atılım Üniversitesi has consistently ranked among Turkey's top universities in national and international rankings since its establishment.

Today, at its main campus located 20 km from downtown Ankara, the university provides higher education opportunities to approximately 10,000 students through 7 faculties — including the Faculty of Science and Literature, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Faculty of Medicine — along with 2 vocational schools, 2 colleges, and 3 institutes.

The majority of undergraduate programs at Atılım Üniversitesi are taught in English, and all prospective undergraduate applicants are first required to take an English placement and proficiency exam called APEX (Atılım University English Proficiency Exam). Based on their scores, students may either begin undergraduate study directly or be placed in a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved sufficient scores on TOEFL iBT, CPE, CAE, PTE Academic, IELTS, or FCE may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Atılım Üniversitesi must meet the following requirements.

For Turkish Students:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 208.18719
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 464.7015

For International Students:

• GCE, ACT, SAT, IB, ABITUR, or MATURA score
• Turkish Language Proficiency Exam Score

For Preparatory Program Exemption:

• A passing score on TOEFL iBT, CPE, CAE, PTE Academic, IELTS, FCE, or the university's own APEX exam.
