Abdullah Gül Üniversitesi

Founded in 2010 as Turkey's first foundation-supported public university, Abdullah Gül University — or AGÜ for short — grew out of a campus conversion project that transformed the historic Sümerbank Cloth Factory in Kayseri. Named after Abdullah Gül, the 11th President of the Republic of Turkey, the university launched its academic life with a “Learner-Centered” approach and continues to pursue its goal of becoming a globally competitive university.

Operating on a modern, renovated campus, Abdullah Gül University offers educational opportunities to 1,700 students through 6 faculties and 2 institutes. Students at Abdullah Gül University may also benefit from student exchange programs such as Erasmus and Farabi.

Certain undergraduate programs at Abdullah Gül University are taught in English. Prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and based on their score, may either proceed directly into the undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. However, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as TOEFL iBT, CAE, CPE, or ÖSYM-administered exams such as YDS or YÖKDİL may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students applying to undergraduate programs offered by Abdullah Gül University must meet the following admission requirements.

For Turkish Students;

High School Diploma

Minimum YKS Base Score: 256.7576

Maximum YKS Base Score: 397.93665

For International Students;

SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score

or

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate

Turkish Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Exemption;

A sufficient score on a proficiency exam such as TOEFL iBT, CAE, CPE, or ÖSYM-administered exams such as YDS or YÖKDİL
