Yeditepe University

Yeditepe University is a foundation university established in Istanbul, Turkey in 1996 by the Istanbul Education and Culture Foundation (İSTEK). With the guiding motto “The University Carrying on Atatürk's Renaissance...”, Yeditepe University has achieved numerous successes in academic and research domains since its founding.

With leading, distinguished academic and administrative staff across virtually every field and guided by the path blazed by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the university has taken as its mission the cultivation of well-rounded individuals who are modern, inquisitive, forward-thinking, possess all the qualities Turkey needs, are technologically literate, internationally aware, and have a strong sense of identity.

Accredited by institutions such as JCI, ISO, ADA, EFP, ECZAK, ECZAKDER, ETEN, FEDEK, TÜRKAK, MÜDEK, and UTEAK/TEPDAD, Yeditepe University currently provides higher education opportunities to more than 22,000 students through 13 faculties, 2 schools, 1 vocational school, and 6 institutes.

Some undergraduate programs at Yeditepe University are taught in English; accordingly, prospective students are first required to take a level placement and proficiency exam, and based on their score, they may either proceed directly to undergraduate study or begin a preparatory program. In addition, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as YDS, YÖKDİL, or TOEFL iBT may apply for a preparatory program exemption.

Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Yeditepe University must meet the following admission requirements.

For Turkish Students:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 202.87465
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 474.18574

For International Students:

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
• Turkish Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Program Exemption:

• YDS, YÖKDİL, or TOEFL iBT Proficiency Exam Score
