Universidade de São Paulo is one of the largest centers of higher education in Latin America. It is one of three state universities in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. It is Brazil’s largest public university and the country’s most prestigious educational institution. How to get into Universidade de São Paulo
If you want to pursue an undergraduate degree at Universidade de São Paulo, you are expected to meet the following requirements:

- Statement of purpose
- Any other relevant certificates
If you want to pursue a graduate degree at Universidade de São Paulo, you are expected to meet the following requirements:

- A copy of the PEC-PG registration form

- Two letters of recommendation
- A handwritten statement of purpose in Portuguese, addressed to the program coordinator, explaining your interest in the program
- CV with photo (in Portuguese)
- Any other relevant certificates
Each year, a maximum of 6 international students are admitted to the master’s program and a maximum of 3 to the doctoral program.
As a master’s applicant, you must not have been residing in Brazil for at least 12 months.

The university currently has eleven campuses, four of them in the city of São Paulo. The others are in Bauru, Lorena, Piracicaba, Pirassununga, Ribeirão Preto, and two in São Carlos. The main campus in São Paulo covers 7,443,770 square meters and is known as the Cidade Universitária Armando de Salles Oliveira. Today, Universidade de São Paulo has five hospitals. The university is also home to 24 museums and galleries, which draw half a million visitors a year.
The campuses of Universidade de São Paulo have state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms and modern study spaces. There are dormitories and apartments for both domestic and international students. You will also find a variety of stylish cafes and restaurants. The university is home to a rich array of museums and art galleries. Most of them are on the main campus in the city of São Paulo:

The university also has 42 libraries managed by the Integrated Library System, which also runs the university’s online system DEDALUS. Dedalus is an online database that lets you search every library at the university at once. It is also integrated into a system called Integrated Research, which brings together all online databases the university subscribes to. This system speeds up academic research and gives researchers easy access to international publications.
