Certain undergraduate programs at Trakya University are taught in English, German, and Bulgarian. Accordingly, prospective students first take a placement and proficiency exam; based on their score, they may either transition directly to their undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. In addition, prospective students who have achieved sufficient scores on proficiency exams for English such as TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, for German such as TELC, TestDaF, PNDS, or Goethe-Zertifikat, or on proficiency exams administered by OSYM and YOK such as YDS, E-YDS, and YOKDiL may apply for a preparatory program exemption.

Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Trakya University must meet the admission requirements listed below.

For Turkish Students;

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 198.28646
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 445.15665

For International Students;

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-Level Certificate
• Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Program Exemption;

• Sufficient score on proficiency exams for English such as TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, for German such as TELC, TestDaF, PNDS, or Goethe-Zertifikat, or on proficiency exams administered by OSYM and YOK such as YDS, E-YDS, and YOKDiL
