Toros Üniversitesi

Toros University is a foundation university established in 2009 in Mersin, Turkey. Founded and supported by the Mersin Education Foundation, which has half a century of experience in education, and a continuation of the Toros Schools legacy, Toros University holds cooperation agreements with the Bologna Process, the Erasmus Program, and Pearson Education.

Across 4 campuses — Bahçelievler Campus, 45 Evler Campus, Uray Campus, and Mezitli Campus — and through 4 faculties including the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture; Faculty of Engineering; Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences; and Faculty of Health Sciences, as well as 1 college, 2 vocational schools, 1 institute, and 3 application and research centers, the university provides higher education opportunities to more than 3,000 students.

Certain undergraduate programs at Toros University are taught in English. Prospective students first take a placement and proficiency exam; based on their score, they may either transition directly to their undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. In addition, students who have achieved sufficient scores on proficiency exams such as CPE, CAE, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, or exams administered by OSYM such as YDS and YOKDiL may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Toros University must meet the admission requirements listed below.

For Turkish Students;

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 210.21703
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 365.37035

For International Students;

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
• Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Program Exemption;

• Sufficient score on proficiency exams for English such as CPE, CAE, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, or exams administered by OSYM such as YDS and YOKDiL
