Özyeğin Üniversitesi

Founded in 2007 by the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation, Özyeğin Üniversitesi welcomes students to a peaceful campus set away from the bustle of the city, and has adopted the approach of a “research-based entrepreneurship university.” Özyeğin Üniversitesi offers students educational opportunities through a total of 23 undergraduate and 10 doctoral programs across 6 faculties and 3 institutes on its 283,000 square-meter campus in Çekmeköy.

A member of the European University Association and the founding institution of Le Cordon Bleu Istanbul, Özyeğin Üniversitesi is one of Turkey's universities that aims to deliver education meeting world standards. 

Certain undergraduate programs at Özyeğin Üniversitesi are taught in English; prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and based on their score they may either proceed directly to undergraduate study or begin a preparatory program. In addition, students who have achieved sufficient scores on proficiency exams such as TOEFL i-BT, CAE, CPE, or YDS and YÖKDİL administered by ÖSYM may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students wishing to apply to the undergraduate programs offered by Özyeğin Üniversitesi must meet the admission requirements listed below.

For Turkish Students;

High School Diploma

Minimum YKS Base Score: 224.49136

Maximum YKS Base Score: 494.70089

For International Students;

SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score

or

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate

or

A sufficient score on the Özyeğin Üniversitesi International Student Exam

Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Program Exemption;

A sufficient score on proficiency exams such as TOEFL i-BT, CAE, CPE, or YDS and YÖKDİL administered by ÖSYM
