Karabük Üniversitesi

Karabük Üniversitesi is a public university established in 2007 in the province of Karabük, Turkey. A member of the Caucasus Universities Union, Karabük Üniversitesi currently provides higher education opportunities to more than 45,000 students through 16 faculties — including the Başak Cengiz Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Letters, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Forestry, the Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, the Safranbolu Faculty of Tourism, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Technical Education, the Faculty of Technology, the Faculty of Medicine, and the Türker İnanoğlu Faculty of Communication — along with 2 institutes, 5 colleges, and 9 vocational colleges.

Certain undergraduate programs at Karabük Üniversitesi are taught in English, and prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam. Depending on their score, students may either proceed directly to their undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. Students who have achieved sufficient scores on proficiency exams such as TOEFL i-BT, FCE, CAE, CPE, or PTE Academic, or on ÖSYM- and YÖK-administered exams such as YDS, E-YDS, and YÖKDİL, may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Karabük Üniversitesi must meet the following admission requirements.

For Turkish Students;

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 199.08546
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 432.59975

For International Students;

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate

• Foreign Student Exam Score
• Turkish Proficiency Certificate

To Skip Preparatory Class;
