How to get into Aarhus University
Prospective students applying to undergraduate programs offered by Aarhus University must meet the following admission requirements.
- 4-Year High School Diploma, or a European or International Baccalaureate Diploma if applicable
- Admission to and at least one year of study at a university offering a 4-year bachelor's degree program that is recognized by Aarhus University
- Official transcripts documenting the courses taken and grades earned during high school and higher education
- Strong Grade Point Average
- English Proficiency Certificate (an English proficiency certificate obtained through an exam such as TOEFL or IELTS) for undergraduate programs taught in English
- Danish Proficiency Certificate (e.g., a Danish proficiency certificate obtained through a qualifying exam administered by VUC) for undergraduate programs taught in Danish
Applicants to graduate programs offered by Aarhus University must meet the following admission requirements.
- 4-Year Bachelor's Degree (students must have completed at least 180 ECTS credits during their undergraduate studies)
