Anadolu University began its educational journey in 1958 as the Eskisehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences and gained university status in 1982. Located in the heart of Eskisehir — a vibrant university city — Anadolu University aspires to become a world university focused on lifelong learning. The Yunus Emre Campus is home to 12 faculties, 1 State Conservatory, and 5 institutes. Anadolu University, which hosts 23,000 students, is also home to 25 Research and Application Centers. The university offers Erasmus+ and Mevlana student exchange programs that allow students to complete a portion of their studies abroad.

How to get into
Anadolu University requires prospective students to complete an English Preparatory Program for departments where the language of instruction is English.
In addition, prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs at Anadolu University must meet the following requirements.
For Turkish Students:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum YKS Base Score: 197.80033
- Maximum YKS Base Score: 412.36087
- For Preparatory Program Exemption: A minimum score of 72 on the TOEFL exam
For International Students:
- SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura Score
- Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate
