Manisa Celâl Bayar Üniversitesi

Manisa Celâl Bayar University is a state university founded in 1992 in the province of Manisa, Turkey. Named after Celâl Bayar, the third President of the Republic of Turkey and a comrade-in-arms of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the War of Independence, Manisa Celâl Bayar University has become one of the three institutions of higher education that form the backbone of higher education in the province of Manisa, Turkey.

Today, Manisa Celâl Bayar University provides higher education opportunities to approximately 40,000 students through 15 faculties — including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Hasan Ferdi Turgutlu Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Fine Arts Design and Architecture, Faculty of Dentistry, Salihli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Communication, and Faculty of Applied Sciences — along with 3 institutes, 2 schools, 15 vocational schools, and 32 research and application centers.

Certain undergraduate programs at Manisa Celâl Bayar University are taught in English. Prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and depending on their score, they may either proceed directly to the undergraduate program or begin a preparatory program. In addition, students who have obtained sufficient scores on proficiency exams such as TOEFL, CPE, CAE, PTE-Academic, or proficiency exams administered by OSYM and the Council of Higher Education (YOK) such as YDS and YOKDİL may apply for a preparatory program exemption.

Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Manisa Celâl Bayar University must meet the following admission requirements.

For Turkish Students:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 198.38125
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 446.3301

For International Students:

• Having obtained a sufficient score on the Manisa Celâl Bayar University Foreign Student Exam (MCBUYOS)
• Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Program Exemption:

• Having obtained a sufficient score on proficiency exams administered by OSYM, such as TOEFL, CPE, CAE, PTE-Academic, YDS, or YOKDİL
