How to get into
Istanbul University requires prospective students admitted to departments where the language of instruction includes English, German, or French to complete the corresponding preparatory programs.
Additionally, prospective students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Istanbul University must meet the following requirements.
For Turkish Students;
- High School Diploma
- Minimum YKS Base Score: 201.68522
- Maximum YKS Base Score: 420.22483
For International Students;
- IUYOS Exam Score
For Preparatory Program Exemption;
- English: TOEFL i-BT, CAE, CPE, or PTE Exam Score
- German: TELC, Goethe-Zertifikat, or TestDAF Exam Score
- French: DELF/DALF or TFI Exam Score
