The University of Colorado-Denver is a research-focused public university located in Denver, the capital of the US state of Colorado. Although the institution, which is now a part of the Colorado University System, was officially founded in 1912, its roots can be traced to the School of Medicine and Surgery opened by the University of Colorado on its Boulder campus in 1883. University of Colorado-Denver, which has more than 15,000 students today offers more than 140 courses in 8 schools and university colleges, including the College of Fine Arts and Media, the School of Business, the School of Education & Human Development, the College of Engineering, Design & Computer Science, the School of Graduate Studies, the School of Public Affairs, the School of Medicine, and the College of Architecture & Planning. Prospective international students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs offered by the University of Colorado-Denver must meet the admission requirements listed below.
• Completing 12 Years of Basic Education
• 4 Year High School Diploma
• High GPA
• Official transcripts containing the courses and grades taken by the prospective student in the 11th and 12th grades
• SAT or ACT Exam Score
• Certificate of English Proficiency
o English proficiency certificate from proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Duolingo English Test
• Personal Statement & Essay
Although academic qualifications obtained through programs such as GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement are not sufficient for direct admission, students within the scope of these programs can request course credits in line with the courses they have taken.
