Boston College Campus Information
Boston College’s main campus is situated in the Chestnut Hill town which is the capital of Massachussets. It covers over 120 acres. The campus, where traditional and modern architectural styles blend together, is a home for most of the Gothic-style architectural buildings. Although academic buildings are located in the central section of the campus, the hostel buildings and the sports facilities of undergraduates are all located in the periphery of the campus. The university grounds include several green areas like a big quadrangle called the "Dustbowl" as well as the "Reservoir" where the students enjoy jogging and walking. Some of the iconic structures on campus are the Gasson Hall, which is the oldest structure celebrating its 100 years of existence and has a distinct bell tower; Devlin Hall, the home to the College of Social Work; and the Conte Forum, a multi-purpose arena used for athletic events, along with concerts and other events.
