Delft University Technology (TU Delft) is the oldest and largest technical university in the country, located in Delft, the Netherlands. TU Delft is among the top 10 engineering and technology universities in the world, ranked 2nd in civil engineering, 3rd in mechanical, aerospace and aeronautical engineering and 3rd in architecture in 2023. Founded in 1842 by King William II as a royal academy, the university expanded its research and education curriculum over time, becoming a polytechnic school in 1864 and a full-fledged institute of technology in 1905. In 1986, the name was changed to Delft University Technology. TU Delft is associated with Nobel Prize-winning Dutch scientists such as Jacobus Henricus van 't Hoff, Heike Kamerlingh Onnes and Simon van der Meer and is a member of many university federations such as the IDEA League, CESAER, UNITECH International, ENHANCE Alliance, LDE and 4TU.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with at least 6 grade 12 U or M courses, including at least 4-U-courses with an average score of at least 80%. For all TU Delft BSc programs an U course in mathematics is required whereas for most BSc programs an U course in physics is required. Some BSc programs require an U course in chemistry and or biology.
